An Extended Leave of Absence

So, I have been out of the Blog Loop for sometime but not out of the Social one. I have managed to bag tons of new experiences and adventures under my belt. I figured it was time to start recording them down again.

First off, lets start with the past two nights (no point in reminicing about the past event before that because its all about moving forward):

Friday, May 29th: JH and I met up for drinks at Cip's on West Broadway which ended with us getting into a verbal argument with some dumb model in a ticketty-tack leather vest with a diamante skull on the back thus her having us kicked out...Bummer. We resumed our night by heading to 1Oak (Honestly, it isn't my favorite place in the world but it can be a good time from time to time). I ran into Lily among others from what I can recollect. We danced, we drank, and we conquered. All and all it wasn't a bad night that ended with onion rings @ 5am.

Saturday, May 30th: JH and I went to Cip's again to meet some friends for a quick chat. We left and decided to take a stroll around SoHo and the West Village because it was a lovely day in the city. I could tell something was bothering JH that not even the temptation of Louboutin could bring her out of her stooper. So, I told her she needed to have a drink since we were near The Spotted Pig we thought we would drop in for a quick drink which lasted through dinner and 3 drinks. Not only did it leave JH much more chipper it also left us a little drunk. We went to her friend Courtney's birthday Ryan in tow in this amazing full floor loft on W14th it was ridiculous. After JH and I ran home so she could do a wardrobe change because flip flops and a sun dress aren't evening appropriate. We dropped by this new place Avenue which isn't open yet it was so amazing. I ran into Lily again as well as Tallulah and Nur we stayed there till about 230am which after we preceded for 1Oak again which delivered again but I was a little drunk so I didn't really care. JH and I were going to go to Helly's but it was 5am it was time for bed.

Thus concluding my epic weekend. Stay Tuned.

Return of the Amazon

So, being that the 90's are slowly coming back (more like at a rapid pace), what goes best with the 90's besides grunge the Return of the Glamazon Super Model. i.e. Claudia in Chanel, Linda in Prada, Stephanie in Loewe, Christy in Escada, and Naomi in YSL

Met Gala: Super Heroes? More like Super Models

Super Model and Super Size it please.

Super Models go with the theme of Super Heroes, mainly because well they're pretty super.

Met Gala: UP! UP! AND AWAY!

The Met Gala this year was quite amazing as well as the theme 'Super Heroes'. I think its quite kitschy, the exhibits were fantastic with contributions from avant garde designs from different designers as well as actual costumes taken from our favorite super hero films.

Super Agent not Super Provacative

So, Im sure all of you are aware that Kate Moss has been resigned to do Agent Provocateur's campaign again this year. But did anyone think it was going to come out as amazing as this? Because as much as I like Queen Kate her last campaing for AP kind of sucked.

So, if you dont like it, well then you can eat Kate.
